ke7em, It’s not what you think. It’s not another Iraqi invasion of Kuwait story. This time is HUMMERS invasion! YES INVASION =F but a peaceful one =] HUMMERS are everywhere!  I’m sure that you all have seen the entire HUMMER family, If not in the internet, surely in Kuwait =/ It’s everywhere in the streets like a mackintosh =~]  Do you know what the problem is?! The problem ya ma7fotheen il-salama enna they all look the same :P 

While driving I was playing a game, the game is about counting the number of HUMMERS that passes infront of my car thru my way to work. I’ve seen 12 hummers (all sizes). ya-elahey 12!! let’s say 12 of 200 cars insheel minhom il-sher6a o il-maba7eth o il-taxi o elaa akherehe =[ 12 is a huge number for a 20 to 25mins early morning drive-time. again ya-elahey their salesmen are professional HUMMER aims at young males and the Baby HUMMER also attract female drivers, bs ham a3teqed enna ewaz3onha for-free! =F  

If you're reading this and you're about to buy one, please laa 3afyaa =[ think of FJ-Cruiser. It's not bad at all 

Now, If I'm not a fan of HUMMER nor a hater, If I don't drive a HUMMER and never will. Then why am I posting about it? =] Simply because I just saw our dear-friend-old-neighbour and he just bought a car! He just bought a HUMMER =~~~] and I think It’s number 1000,000,000 here in Kuwait. babrook jarna il-qadeem, etkasirha bil-3afya =]

I was in my car heading to work this morning. I wasn’t speeding (which is hard to believe =F ) I was at speed 60km/h. enjoying the cool weather and my cup of warm milk =~] 

Over my seven years experience in driving as a professional driver, you have to check your mirrors regularly LOOOOL o bema enni zarqa’  il-yamama, I looked at my rearview mirror and I saw my friend driving her car behind me (oo elli 6ab3an she’ll no longer be)

Anyways, I was calling her number. IMAGINE ME CALLING SOMEONE AT 7:–am, qimma bil-ekhlaas wil-wafa’ =F

…. ring ring ring ring ring ring .. and she picked up the phone

ME : GOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!!!! =~] (caps = saying it out loud)

& : ahlein “akke7 akke7″ sorry sorry bs mareetha oo mo zena il-flu o ana 7amil, o tsawaray 7ata wildi mareeth

ME : matshofoon shar ray7a il-dr? (3ALA NEYAATI =F, till now ma fahamt il-qissa LOOOOOOOOOL)

People lie, and I want to know WHY do they lie? There are no excuses for lying! excuse?! what excuse! excuse = lie. The reason why people lie is they have a huge problem in their self-esteem. I think there is a damage in the brain that causes the problem.

I hardly listen to the radio while driving. However, when I do. I listen to talk-shows and it tends to make me laugh. And I don’t laugh while driving alone. a7es enni mo sa7ya =~] 

After work I was extremely dizzy. I opened the window a little and the radio to keep me awake till I reach home. I was listening carefully to “Asaalah Nasri’s song” which I’ve never heard before and It must be new. Anyways. I started asking questions about what I’ve just heard? I’m not sure If anyone noticed the words of the song. but I did! I tried to convince myself that It does make sense, but no use!!  LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!

It says : (لا تخاف من الزمان, الزمان ماله أمان) hmm? LOOOOL!! It doesn’t make any sense to me. LOL? Please shino ”la takhaf min il-zaman + il-zaman malah amaan”?!  Can anyone explain this to me? LOL! I don’t blame her, I blame the writer of the song. There is a wise saying that says : (حاكي العاقل بما يعقل) la-3aqil wala-hum ya7zanon

I didn’t listen to rest of the song carefully cause the first part really confused me and I was busy laughing at it LOOOL! I was ga3da agoleb’ha yemeen o yesaar until I laughed o 7agart the rest of the song =F

I am feeling nostalgic about my school memories. It’s because today I saw the most caring person (3ammi Bu-Sa3ad) in the CO-Op.

(3ammi Bu-Sa3ad) is in his mid-sixties. He was wearing dishdasha and ghutra without (3gaal) as always.  His big eye-glasses with the dark-brown frame didn’t change. I was looking at him and he was holding (leban) and was checking the Expiry-Date. I had this flashbacks of (3ammi Bu-Sa3ad, and Sara) who used to bring me and his daughter Sara from school. I’ve been looking at him so long that I had forgotten everything. way 11years!!! Seems like yesterday.

I immediately stepped forward to reach him. I laid my hand upon his shoulder and smiled. 

me : gowwa 3ammi Bu-Sa3aaad!!!

him : hala yabnaybtey  “.. he didn’t know me”

me : 3ammi Bu-sa3ad ana “…..” thekartne?!? ana elley kint twadeene il-madresa ma3a Sara bentek, thekartne!?

I’ve received an e-mail from my brother containing THIS .

My eyes teared up right after I saw the website. I’m so happy for him mashallah 3aleih.

I wanted to post about it “tomorrow” after work, but after el-fajir prayers I couldnt sleep. I felt guilty for not posting the man’s story right after I read the e-mail fwd. allah yethabtik inshallah

First Day = A Start Of a New Day =~]

 

 

This morning was meant to be the start of a new life, a new job. The job that I really wanted for too long. I’ve been waiting for this day since June 2005 (saboora ha? ) and what kept me waiting and dying to get this job is their interview. The interview made me realize that their staff were very picky, young, and competitive. And now il7emdellah I am one of their staff.  

This morning I was a bit more worried comparing with my first day in my previous job. And that’s normal since my previous job wasn’t really important to me and wasn’t my choice at the first place. 

Anyways. I arrived there @ 6:45am (ma3a il-farareesh lol ) and work starts @ 8:00am. fa il-wath3 enna nobody was there but me LOL! 7aseit ro7eey afashil oo mayta 3al shighel =~] during that time. I started awasiwis. amm arid il-bait?! la akhaf yeseer za7ma ba3dein, hmm chena imbacher ya rabey fashla lol! zain aro7 asub banzeen?! la akhaf athayye3 oo ana yallah daleit =]  I decided to park my car, sufa6t chaan adish astakshef il-sharika  

I saw the farraash and I asked him wein “B. department?”,  he showed me the way to my dept yezah allah kheir ya3ne then he asked me itha bashrab shay min il-sebb7, 6ab3an i didn’t refuse o asked for the menu lol faa ..

me : what do you have?

shaybob : tea, milk, coffee

me : amm “..fakart shwaya” I want water please =]

shaybob : ok “..he went to bring me some water”

I was waiting for my glass il-may o sharabt il-may, then i asked for some more o sharabt il-some more, till my mudeer has finally arrived =~] he gave me an excellent welcome. I gave him an excellent impression back

It was a good day after all and I’m glad it ended nicely. I hope everyone will always be happy as I was this day.

I’m BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!  il7imdella I’m feeling pretty good. I’m feeling fresh lol! a7is enne yedeeda (shda3waa? ) lol. People do me a favor and take a break from your work. YOU need it sadgooni =~]

 

elmoheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem, I went to Dubai akhhh It’s 3awar galb! This is my second visit to Dubai. I went there in August ‘07.   If you didn’t go to Dubai 3ayal I highly recommend Kempinski hotel. It’s classy, luxury and It’s near from “Mall of the Emirates”. shagol sha7chi? bs you should go there. It’s the States in the GCC! I wanted to stay more ma shiba3t but sadly magdar =[ BECAUSE I'll start something new tomorrow If you're wondering what that is? I'll tell you! =] tomorrow i will start my new JOB! nyahahahah I’m a little bit worried o ba6ni ye3awerni but I’ll get over it inshallah.  Three months of a total joy and relaxation to allahu a3lam. I hope it’ll hold good things for me.
